Headin Uptown - Garrison Elliott

Hello friends!

I'm writing to invite you to share in the third anniversary celebration of Steve's Live Music June 14th, 2015.  I was proud to be a part of the opening weeks and months of Steve's and am flattered to be asked back to be a part of this third anniversary!  I'll be doing a lot of originals and some of that great old swing.  Our 7 piece band includes Darren Ginn, Joe Reda, and Ron Leidenfrost in the rhythm section, and Bob Lewis, Neil McElroy, and the lovely Marla Feeney in the horn section!  It's going to be a big night, so please...drop everything and come to Steve's!

As we all know, or should, Steve Grossman is a one-in-a-million kind of guy who lives by his motto, "It's All About The Music".  Steve is living his dream by bringing great music to Sandy Springs and treating everyone, especially musicians, with respect...and we are all reaping the benefits!  So come out and fill the room, not for me, but for Steve. First of two shows for dinner is at 6:30 pm, Sunday, June 14th.

Now many of you are saying, what about Garrison Elliott?  We hardly ever hear from him on Facebook, we rarely see him out on the town, he hardly even gigs much anymore...why should we drop everything and come to his show?  Well here are a couple of reasons.  First of all, like many have heard me say, ("this is it, my last gig, I'm throwing in the towel"), this really might be my last performance.  What can I say, keeping up with social media and self-promotion is just not my thing. I had no idea I had so many Facebook friends...and half of them I don't even know.  So come out and say hello so I know who you are, I promise you'll love the band, and I'll go out swinging strong!  And the last but not least reason... Steve likes me!

Hope to see you...Bert
